If Murdock Carriere is to the provincial NDP what Adscam was to the Federal Liberals then NDP CAUCUS FRAUD to the provincial NDP is the leaked Income Trust announcement to the Federal Liberals.
The adscam was a long standing scandal with the federal Liberal party similar to the 275 thousand dollar payout to NDP employee Murdock Carriere for wrongful dismissal due to his alleged sexual harassment.
Correct me if I’m wrong but the announcement of the RCMP investigation into the Income Trust announcement occurred during the 2006 federal election. The current NDP Caucus Fraud has been brought into the public eye right before a provincial election.
I believe a provincial election will be called soon since in the leader post today the following appeared;
“One NDP MLA, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Monday that while the poll has raised concerns among some government members about Calvert it is far too close to an election to change leaders.”
We’ll be going to the polls soon and with the current scandals and levels of support for the Sask Party we’ll have a Sask Party government and not a moment too soon. Hopefully the Provincial NDP haven’t blown all of the boom.

I just thought the analogy was interesting. I also find the fact that in the 2004 Federal election the Federal Liberals used fear mongering to some success but in the 2006 Federal election their fear mongering failed. Similarly the Provincial NDP used fear mongering to win the 2003 provincial election but in the next election I don’t think it will work again. Hope will always win out over Fear.

If we are rambling, is there a possiblity that is may be a leadership coup by the NDP? That a current sitting MLA or a leadership hopeful who was privy to that information has now passed it on to the loyal opposition?
This caper has many twists and turns in it. The NDP is in major damage control but they are not handling this issue well at all. If they are having difficulty in handling this issue, they surely must be having difficulty in managing the affairs of governing this provinnce??
It appears that the NDP does not like the attacks and fear mongering.
